Earlier today, I was listening to a webinar by Jeffrey Hayzlett, and one particular topic really caught my attention: SnapTags. I was honestly still in the impressed stage when it came to QR codes... but SnapTags simply blow QR codes out of the water.
SnapTags provide brand marketing, while still offering an instant response from the user. They bring style to the world of mobile tracking. On top of that, they also broaden the audience, by allowing users with a simple camera phone to capture the image and access the information.
All in all I think SpyderLink has really hit the nail on the head here.

eMarketer analysts announced that they were revising their forecasts for US mobile ad spend in 2012 – the new prediction is $2.61 billion! That's a 45% increase from their original prediction, and it's all due to Google's performance.
But what worries me is that advertisers are blindly throwing their money at mobile. In today's SMN Webcast about mobile call campaigns, nearly half of poll respondents had no idea what the ROI on their mobile campaigns was. And 11% said they were flushing their money down the toilet with mobile.
